The battle continues as Aizen still cannot fully understand how Ichigo can be on his level, and warns him not to be full of himself. In his anger, the Hogyoku begins a bloody transformation. Aizen takes it as a sign that the Hogyoku finds it inexcusable, and wishes to end the fight. Aizen's powers have increased and traps Ichigo, which forces him to use the Final Getsuga Tensho. But at what cost? It is called "Final" for a reason, and Ichigo must make a sacrifice in order to wield it.
